Pastors Summoned to Participate in Call2Fall 2015

On Sunday, June 28, 2015, there will be a special prayer emphasis for whole congregations across the nation to fall on their knees as part of the Sunday morning worship, in humble acknowledgment of our individual and national dependence upon Almighty God and the need for national revival and spiritual renewal.

“Our Founding Fathers were moved to tears and to greater dependence on God as they faced grave uncertainty on the eve of war with Great Britain,” stated Doug Small, Coordinator of Church of God Prayer Ministries. “They were on their knees in prayer. This is an opportunity to humble ourselves in prayer before God, which is more critical now than ever. We want to be a part of a movement of prayer renewal.”

Pastors are being asked to set aside a few minutes in the June 28 worship services to pray for our nation. There are many church-friendly tools and resources at call2fall.com, that can help your church have a meaningful Call2Fall, a ‘call to fall’ on our knees.

Church of God Prayer Ministries’ Saturday Night Fire Call on June 27 will focus on Call2Fall. Join the call at 10:00pm EST, dial 712-432-0075, enter code 367853#. The guest will be National Prayer Director for the Family Research Council Pierre Bynum. He says, “Imagine the power of millions of believers on their knees, in tens of thousands of congregations, pleading for heaven to send revival to the nation!”

United prayer has always been a feature of every great awakening. In the past, an estimated 1.5 million Christians went to their knees across the nation on ‘Call2Fall’ Sunday in thousands of congregations of almost every denomination.

Small said, “Let’s join the movement and cry out to God for a national spiritual awakening.”
