ZAMBIA, Africa — Three young men from Emma’s Kids Christian Academy won first place in?the Accelerated Christian Education National Competition?held in Lusaka,?Zambia. They now have the privilege to travel to South Africa for the 2007?All-Africa Student Convention.?
We praise God for these three young men.?They will have an opportunity to testify about what the Lord Jesus?has accomplished in and through them. They have worked very hard since coming off of the streets and discovering the love of God that offers them hope and faith according to Jeremiah 29:11.
The three young men are:
Isaac Katontoka – 17 years old
Preaching Certificate and Silver Trophy
2005, 2007 National Competition, 1st place
Peter Powanga – 17 years old
Music Vocalist (singing/playing the guitar) Certificate and Trophy
Pinot Lee Kabamba – 16 years old
Science Project?(human skeleton) Certificate and Trophy
The convention will be held in December 2007.? Please keep them in your prayers during this time of travel and dedication to represent their country of Zambia and the Emma’s Kids?Christian Academy.?
