‘Year of the Missionary’ Takes Another Step Toward Missionary Care
While Friday the 13th is typically known as a day for bad luck, it was just the opposite for Church of God career missionaries Bobby and Tamitha Lynch.

World Missions Director Tim Hill, staff members, and personnel met in the World Missions conference room to officially initiate an additional action for the 2015—Year of the Missionary emphasis. One of the implementations for career missionaries is an appreciation gift in honor of February, the month designated by the secular world for expressing love to those who mean the most to us.
As part of the World Missions “We are with you!” theme, Dr. Hill provided a Skype session for the Lynch family to have personal contact with the Missions department. Included was the announcement that a donation has been made to their personal account, as well as to the other career missionaries’ funds.
Bobby and Tamitha Lynch went to Quito, Ecuador, as associate missionaries in 2007. Now, as career missionaries serving Latin America since 2010, they continue to reach the continent for Jesus Christ. The Lynches direct the Latin American Center for Research, Resources, and Statistics (CLIRE), training ministers, revitalizing existing churches, and planting new churches.
Tabitha has extensive training and experience in children’s ministry, and she and Bobby organized the Project M:25, offering care and ministry to at-risk children within Ecuador. Project 25 provides nutrition, education, and enrichment programs, along with training and equipping people who work with at-risk children throughout Latin America. For Valentine’s Day, over 100 kids came to the after-school program and were given vaccinations. Bobby is the director of the Master’s Degree program at the South American Ministerial Seminary (SEMISUD), which partners with Lee University.
