Representing the entire management team, Joey Gann, plant manager, and Lee Harsson, Director of Business Operations, delivered cash donations to the administration of the Children’s Home, wishing the staff and resident children a Merry Christmas.

This benevolent act of kindness began last year when management of the company wanted to give back to the Sevier County community for the blessings they had received. Harsson stated, “We just wanted to do something good for the children and to put this money where it would benefit those less fortunate than us.”

Representing the administration and standing in for Dr. Walt Mauldin, Executive Director of Smoky Mountain Children’s Home, Dr. Coleman Peacock, Director of Communications, received the cash gift of $720.00 and presented the company representatives with a portrait to remind them of the Home’s gratitude for their thoughtfulness and generosity. Peacock stated, “We deeply appreciate the entire management of Swaggerty Sausage Company for their personal contributions and support for the Children’s Home. Thank you for blessing the children in our care during this special time of the year.”
