Cyprus Celebrates 14th Anniversary
Recently, our national church in Nicosia, Cyprus, celebrated its 14th anniversary. The Church of God now has more than 320 members in the island nation, and the new church building was standing room only for the celebration.
There were people from at least eight countries, including Cyprus, the Philippines, Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, Australia, Jordan, Iran, and the United States. In the morning service the altars were full of people praying for salvation, restoration and healing. It was a wonderful all-day celebration meant to celebrate God’s tremendous blessings upon the church. Of course, the hospitality was at its highest and there was more food than anyone could hope for. In the evening, the Cypriot believers had a huge barbecue…Greek style! It was such a wonderful blessing to be with people who love God and their church so much. They truly define a Christian community!
