Operation Compassion Rebuilding Destroyed Churches

Since Hurricane Dean slammed in Central America, Operation Compassion has been busy sending relief goods. After the initial relief, Operation Compassion focuses on rebuilding and helping survivors get their lives back on track by sending food, beverages, cleaning supplies and building supplies.

Most recently, however, Operation Compassion has been trying to respond the immediate need of rebuilding destroyed churches as requested by the leadership of Jamaica, Honduras and Nicaragua. W.W. Blair, overseer of Jamaica, reports that this is a most pressing need.

In an effort to assist these countries, Operation Compassion has secured wall board which is staged in our warehouse ready for shipment. Also, arrangements have been made to purchase 40,000 pounds of 2×6 lumber for roof joists for $4,000. However, we need a contact for metal roofing that can be donated or purchased.

Operation Compassion wants to make a difference by helping rebuild these churches; a difference that will occur only if YOU become involved. Partner with Operation Compassion and make a difference today!
