PeaceMaker’s Seminar at ETSM
The Eurasian Theological Seminary in Moscow hosted its long anticipated seminar, “Biblical Approaches to Conflict Management and Peacemaking / Quakeproofing Your Church” with Richard Pettit and Nick Park.
“As any experienced leader knows, interpersonal conflict is a normal part of working with people,” stated Thomas Rosson, president of the seminary. “Richard and Nick shared with us how pastors and church leaders can best work with conflicts in our churches and ministries.”
This seminar, which had 40 participants, was an eye-opening experience for many of the pastors and church workers, Rosson stated. Many of the pastors are first generation converts who do not have the privilege of growing up with Christian models of handling conflicts in a manner that glorifies God.
ETSM is now in its summer break. Classes are set to resume in late August for returning students. New students will begin their classes on September 1.
