Church of God Launches ‘Ministry Source’
During the Church of God International General Assembly, which met last week in Orlando, Fla., a new “online tool box” of ministry helps was unveiled by General Overseer Mark Williams. The new resource was developed through the supervision of the Office of Communications.
Williams first referred to the new Ministry Source in a “State of the Church” address he delivered during the first session of the Church of God General Council on July 29.
Ministry Source is designed as a new online resource to maximize ministry. The web-based catalogue of resources is organized into four categories:
- Leadership
- Family
- Media
- Music
These four focus areas will help ministers and laypersons quickly locate the tools best suited for their calling within ministry.
“Under each main topic are invaluable nuts-and-bolts resources that provide practical solutions for all your ministry needs, “ stated David Ray, director of Church of God Communications. “These resources include sermon outlines and worship graphics; tools for children’s, youth, women’s, and marriage ministries; social media and public relations resources; legal forms and other documents; video and audio libraries; and training and PowerPoint resources. With Ministry Source, there will be less time searching for resources, and more time using them.”
The new toolbox is available in web and app formats. Register at www.MinistrySource.com.
