God is Moving

God is moving in East Africa! I recently returned from a four-week stay in Uganda and Rwanda on November 8. It was a very successful trip and the Lord blessed our efforts this year. Once again we were able to minister to the pastors and leaders of East Africa. Dr. Ernie Varner, pastor of Sixth Avenue Church of God in Lenoir City, Tennessee, my son, Henry Wynn and I had the opportunity to minister to and train these wonderful servants of God. Also during the trip, we were able to bless the orphans at Seeta Church of God orphanage with shoes, clothes, toys, school supplies, and personal hygiene articles. They also received a monetary gift to help pay for medical expenses when they become sick. Thanks to a financial gift from New Hope Church of God in Corbin, Kentucky and the other team members, we were able to bless Superintendent Joseph Kagarama with new tires for his vehicle. He was in desperate need and we even had a flat on the way back to Uganda from Rwanda. He is constantly on the road working in the ministry and this will be a huge help for him. I also had the opportunity to minister in several local churches and in a women’s conference. We witnessed the Lord move in a powerful way! The school at Seeta Church of God is in desperate need of textbooks. I will be returning in April of this year and hope to be able to meet this need as well as others.
