Youth & Discipleship, NYLA Partner on Webcast
The Church of God International Youth and Discipleship Department, the National Youth Leaders Association (NYLA), and the Youth Ministry Coaching Network (YMCN) have joined forces to bring a never before seen NYLA One Day Webcast. It is scheduled for this Saturday, April 5.

Student ministry can be one of the most rewarding and frustrating areas of leadership. As a leader to teenagers, student pastors are constantly looking for ways to inspire their students, further train their leaders, and continue to follow the call God has placed upon their life.
With budget cuts, student leaders are becoming creative in their training and resourcing by seeking alternative modes of transportation to ministry conferences through something called “the super highway”, the internet.
Gary Lewis, director of Church of God Youth and Discipleship said, “We wanted to make this day special for youth leaders, because we know how difficult it can be to do ministry and we want to help any way we can.”

he NYLA One Day webcast will stream 420 minutes of training from different leaders from around the country including youth ministry veterans Gary Lewis, David Blair, Jeanne Mayo, Josh Griffin, Kevin Moore, and many others.
YMCN Director Dewayne Moree stated, “We never have to do youth ministry alone. Our greatest resource is the student leader down the street, but with technology that resource just got closer!”
Mark your calendars for April 5, 2014. We will have a full day of powerful training and resourcing starting at 10:00am (EST) and varying on different levels of student ministry.
“We want to try and cover as much as we can,” said NYLA President Jared Waldrop, “We want to get people started in areas, give them new ideas, and show them where they can find resources. We just want to connect with people and let them know they aren’t in this alone”
