VIDA Foundation Offers Scholarship Funding

Victor Pagán, former assistant director of Church of God World Missions, recently presented five checks for $1,800 each for scholarships for each of the five fields of Church of God World Missions.

Bill George, coordinator of education for Church of God World Missions, received the checks on behalf of the five field directors: David Ramírez, Latin America; Larry Hess, Europe and the Middle East; Ken Anderson, Asia; Peter Thomas, Africa; and Ishmael Charles, Caribbean. Each director will guide the scholarship award process in his area.

World Missions coordinates the activities of more than 120 ministerial training institutions outside the United States, including seminaries offering graduate degrees, Bible colleges awarding bachelor’s degrees, Bible institutes offering diplomas, and Christian service schools granting certificates.

Pagán, with his wife, Ada, is the founder of the VIDA Foundation, whose primary purpose is funding ministerial preparation. Vida is the Spanish word for “life.” It also captures the letters in the names of Victor and Ada, who are the principal fund raisers for the Foundation. Donors who are interested in supporting the work of VIDA may call World Missions—1-800-345-7492—to secure contact information for the Pagáns.
