World Missions: ‘Love Our Missionaries!’ for Valentine’s Day

In a gesture of sincere appreciation as Valentine’s Day approaches, Director of Church of God world Missions Dr. Tim Hill and his wife, Paula, are sending a personal love gift of $100 to each Church of God career missionary couple.

“Missionaries are sometimes not remembered on special days, although they are on the front lines of the battle for the Kingdom,” Hill declared. “I want to raise awareness once again that they should be held up in prayer and honored by greetings and generosity on their birthdays and special occasions. It’s a small gesture of love that will mean the world to them.”

Dr. Hill announced on his Facebook accounts that Valentine’s week would be called “Love Our Missionaries” week with a goal of collecting at least one thousand “Likes” in honor of faithful missionaries around the world.

Those who would like to join the Hills in sharing a gift may send a check to World Missions, PO Box 8016, Cleveland, TN 37320-8016, with a missionary’s name on the memo line, or may simply write “Valentine’s Gift,” and Missions will choose a name. Secure online giving is convenient at www.cogwm.org, clicking on the red “Give” button and designating the missionary’s name in the “Comments to describe your gift” space.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
