Church of God Leadership in East Africa Signs Children’s Ministries Resolution

A group of East Africa Church of God leaders (overseers, wives, regional superintendent, Christian education director) recently met in Kampala, Uganda, for an intensive workshop concerning the pressing need for the development of effective children’s ministries in the region. The group created a four-point resolution outlining their commitment to reaching and discipling the children of East Africa.

This meeting, as well as the resolution, is groundbreaking.

Never before in the history of the Church of God in Africa has such a group met specifically to consider the needs of the children of this region. There were moments of intensive reflection, repentance, and commitment, as these leaders considered their responsibilities to the more than 100 million children under the age of 16 in their region.

The meeting was made possible by the efforts and support of Joseph Kagarama, regional superintendent.
Also, because of donors’ faithfulness in sponsoring this work, the leadership of the Church of God in East Africa is now committed to bring the children of East Africa into mature Christian discipleship.
