Church Leaders to Gather for HOSEA Conference

The focus will be on the Church of God and ministry in Southeast Asia when the 2nd Harvest For South East Asia (HOSEA) Conference takes place in Siem Reap, Cambodia March 14 – 17, 2013.

According to Ken Anderson, field director for the Church of God in Asia/Pacific, the HOSEA Conference, “will be a gathering of people from Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, India, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, China, Japan, Kiribati, South Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan, Fiji, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Western Samoa, Singapore, Cook Islands, Nepal, Papua New Guinea and Bangladesh. It promises to be a powerful time of worshiping, learning and fellowshipping together.”

Special guest speakers for the event will be Church of God General Overseer Mark Williams; Tim Hill, general director for Church of God World Missions; Timothy W. Oldfield, chairman of the Church of God World Missions Board, John Childers, assistant director of World Missions and Richard Baker with Serving Orphans Worldwide. Other keynote speakers will be Jyothi Reddi and Hanny Yasaputra, Church of God leaders in SE Asia and Oceania.

As part of the conference there will be breakout sessions on such topics as Organizational Leadership, Unreached People Groups, Educating and Equipping, media and church planting. Among the presenters will be Roland Vaughn, Scott Rains, Chuck Quinley, Terry Harris, Blayne Waltrip and Michael Knight.
