Private Christian School Reverts to 19th Century Red Brick Schoolhouse
Religious Education Doctoral Candidate and graduate of Columbia University’s Institute for Not-for-Profit Executive Management, Bridgette Chapman, continues to keep first things first, with the September 2012 opening of Christian Conservatory Prep (CCP), Nondenominational Ungraded Multiage Nationally Accredited Private Elementary School in Hollis, Queens, New York. Christian Conservatory Prep is New York City’s first 100% Individually Guided Education Program (IGE) purposed to educate children in “the WAY they LEARN!”
Bridgette and Michael Chapman, Christian Conservatory Prep’s, Founders, are not in any way neophytes to urban education and community development or youth ministry; both, having earned Master’s Degrees in Early Childhood Education and Organizational Management, respectively, as well, are founders of an urban youth ministry, whence, CCP was birth forth.
After many years of teaching and working in urban youth ministry and community development, the Chapman’s passion to equip, call forth, anoint and send out an army of youth inculcated by the word of God, intellectually astute, able to STAND and give an answer for their faith, has been manifested in Christian Conservatory Prep’s Fall 2012 opening.
