SIEM REAP, Cambodia — Our second regional gathering of leaders will be January 23-25, 2008, at the Somadevi Hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The gathering will begin on Wednesday night with a buffet welcome dinner around the pool at the Somadevi Hotel.
A generous grant from People for Care and Learning, led by Dr. Fred Garmon, will cover the cost of all hotel rooms and provide breakfast and dinner each night. This is a tremendous opportunity to see a cultural wonder, interact with other regional leaders and get some important training to help you in establishing and operating a leadership development program for your nation. Don’t miss out! We need to see all of you there this January!
In the mornings and early afternoons you will receive training in leadership development systems and in handling conflict. Each participant will be sponsored to take the Thomas-Kilman Conflict Mode Instrument to better understand his/her usual method of dealing with conflict. You will learn about five possible strategies for dealing with conflicts so that you can choose the wisest course of action. This is important training and your people will be better off under your leadership afterward.
