Smoky Mountain Jubilee Set for April 10-12

The 2012 Smoky Mountain Jubilee will be held in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, on April 10-12, 2012. The event is sponsored and coordinated by Church of God USA Missions.

The event has been conducted every two years and has become a very popular event among senior adults. Dr. Tim Hill, executive director of the Church of God Division of World Evangelization says, “We want you to be a part of this exciting event which will take place at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Both Jimmy Smith and Larry Timmerman would love to see the attendance reach 2,000 as they prepare to attend this Jubilee for one more time as International Director and Assistant International Director for USA Missions. Let’s all get on board and promote this wonderful event to friends and family.”

The schedule includes an opening night address by Smith.

“We have been blessed to have Brother Smith serve as our International Director of USA Missions for the last four years and thought what a delight and honor it would be to ask if he would deliver the Word of God during his completion as International Director,” Hill continued. “Please join us in honoring both Jimmy and Peggy Smith on Tuesday night and let them know how much they are loved and honored.”

On Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. Mark Lowry, a Christian comedian and singer along with Dove Award-winning pianist Stan Whitmire will be the special guests. On Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. will be a special time of praise and worship followed by the Senior Talent Awards Ceremony.

Although online and mail-in registration is now closed for the event, on-site registration will be available.
