Pastor Featured On Sermon Web Site
Sermon Central, the largest online sermon resource center with over 80,000 free sermons, illustrations, and dramas is featuring Howard A. Strickland, senior pastor of the Crane Eater Community Church in Calhoun, Ga. Strickland is the “Featured Contributor of the Week” to the site with over 200,000 users per week and 300 sermon contributors. Some of the more well-known contributors include John Maxwell, Josh McDowell, Lee Strobel, Charles Stanley and the late Jerry Falwell.
Sermon Central (www.sermoncentral.com), offers sermons online, sermon illustrations and sermon outlines for use in Christian ministry by pastors and ministers. It includes an online bookstore, podcasting and other resources.
Pastor Strickland, a twenty year veteran of the ministry, has uploaded several sermons to the church’s Web site, www.craneeater.com, which received just over one quarter-million hits in 2007. The title of the sermon featured on Sermon Central is “Relying on the Holy Spirit to Fulfill Your Call.”
“Out of hundreds of thousands of pastors who have contributed sermons, I am humbled that my sermons have helped other pastors in this capacity,” said Strickland.
Pastor Strickland encourages other pastors to submit sermons, so that “together, we can impact our world for Jesus Christ!”
