Church of God School in Rwanda Succeeds
RWANDA — We recently received the results from the Profession National Examination. The best student in Hotel studies in Rwanda came from the Church of God St. Patrick Secondary school. The first 10 best students (from number one to number 10 students) in the country for computer science and management, also came from our school. Rwanda has 584 private schools and we have been rated to be one of the top 10 best schools this year.
During the short time we have had the school, we tried to put the name of our school and the name of the church on the map of Rwanda. People are asking who are the owners of this school. We tell them it belongs to Church of God International in Rwanda.
People are asking, too, if we have brought new teachers, but we tell them we have used the same teachers all along. They wonder how the same teachers who failed in the past are able to make this school what it is now.
The impact of the gospel at the school is another big testimony in the community. Students have organized a thanksgiving prayer for what He has done, because these students also requested prayer before writing the final exams. So now they are beginning to see the impact of faithful prayers in their lives.
