Church of God Teacher of the Year Announced
The International Department of Youth and Christian Education, along with Pathway Press, announces the 2007 winner of the annual Teacher of the Year award.
This year’s winner is Christian and Lisa Jadoobirsingh, teachers at the South Cleveland Church of God, Cleveland, TN. Their pastor, Reverend Chris Moody, remarks, “CJ and Lisa are faithful, creative, using a lot of various props and methods in their teaching. They are vital our ministry at South Cleveland. We have gained many new young families because of their teaching. This couple is attracting their kids. Many are coming just because of the opportunity they have for their young children to be in CJ and Lisa’s class.” Whether it be at an interest center, or in a huge cardboard box shaped like a whale, they lead the 2 and 3 year olds in discovering God’s Word personally. Parents testify of the impact they are making on their young children’s lives.
Christian and Lisa will receive a weekend package in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge; spending money, and Christian education resources from Pathway Press.
