‘One Cry’ Conference Set for March 16-17
A Church of God location has been chosen as the site for one of a national series of conferences conducted by ‘One Cry!’ The effort is being coordinated by the National Prayer Committee, a collage denominational prayer leaders and national prayer organizations.
The site is the Church at Liberty Square, Cartersville, Ga., served by Bishop Joe Edwards.
Speakers for the event include Dave Butts, chairman of America’s Prayer Committee, Dave Kubal of Intercessors for America, Jon Bornstein, Executive Director for the National Day of Prayer; and Jon Graf, Publisher for Prayer-Connect magazine and the director of the Church Prayer Leader’s Network.
Plenary Sessions and workshops will be conducted. The theme of the conference is “Can Prayer Save America!” The conference will take place Friday and Saturday, March 16-17.
On Thursday, PM and Friday, March 15-16, a pre-conference has been planned by Doug Small for Church of God congregations, pastors and prayer leaders. That pre-conference will take place on Thursday Evening and throughout the day on Friday. It is being called the formal launch of the ‘Praying Church Movement!’
