The International Council of the Church of God is in the second day of sessions at the international offices in Cleveland, Tennessee.

The International Council meets every two years, on the off year of the General Assembly. The group discusses issues of the denomination around the globe and hears reports of progress in all regions where the Church of God has a presence. The International Council is led by the international executive committee, including General Overseer Raymond Culpepper who serves as moderator.

The program for the international council will include six sessions consisting of reports from field directors and division liaisons, a summation of the recent Lifeway Discipleship Survey, and the Great Commission Trust emphasis. The agenda includes seven separate items which the international council will discuss and vote upon, along with the international executive council.

The leaders began their meeting yesterday, September 25 and will conclude tomorrow in a joint meeting with the International Executive Council and International Advisory Council. The executive council consists of the Council of Eighteen, elected every two years at the General Assembly. The advisory council includes all former members of the Executive Committee.

Roberts; Treasurer-National Executive Offices of Indonesia Suyapto Tandyawasesa; interpreter Tommy Smith; two members (ordained bishop) at least one being African American and one Hispanic from the U.S.A. and appointed by the International Executive Committee: Carlos Moran and Kenneth L.
