Churches Planting Churches: A Mother-Daughter Concept
The Church of God is sponsoring a three-day training conference on how churches can plant churches. The training will be located at the Church of God Leadership and Communication Center in Cleveland, Tennessee on September 19-21, 2011.
“This could be one of the most poignant ministerial opportunities you will ever encounter,” said Dr. Michael Knight, founder of the Never Before Company and lead pastor at the 1200 member Covenant Community Church in Madisonville, Kentucky.
“It is designed specifically for pastors, denominational leaders, missionaries, church planters, lay leaders and students in ministry who desire to know the secret elements of multiplying churches.”
The event is hosted by Dr. Paul Becker, president and founder of Dynamic Church Planting International (dcpi.org), Cathy Becker, vice president of operations and development of DCPI, and Knight.
“After attending this training, you will be inspired to go back to your church and begin or continue to give birth to new churches,” Knight continued. “You will learn the keys to successfully planting daughter churches and how to create a vision and a plan to apply the concepts learned so that your vision becomes a reality.”
According to Knight there are 25 scholarships available for this one-time special occasion. Each spot is valued at $150 and are going quickly, so please call the National Church Planting Office at 270-825-3513 to register.
