Event Will Benefit Cherish the Child Foundation at Children’s Home

Cherish the Child Foundation, Inc. will present Glenn Beck Live at the Knoxville, Tennessee Convention Center to benefit the Church of God Smoky Mountain Children’s Home on October 28, 2011.

According to a press release from Palm Christian Marketing, sponsors Titanic Museum and NewsTalk 98.7 have partnered with Cherish the Child Foundation, a local foundation that raises funds to benefit Smoky Mountain Children’s Home. Located in Sevierville, Tennessee, SMCH is, “a Church of God ministry who has been blessed by the Church of God community and the sacrifices of so many through the years. Operating for over 90 years, this home provides a stable and nurturing environment for children that have been removed by the courts from their own homes because of emotional or physical abuse. Congregations throughout the country have built houses on the property and hundreds of children throughout the year call SMCH home. Some stay for only a short time, some stay till adulthood. SMCH is also an accredited foster care and adoption agency giving the ministry an additional opportunity to be used by God in these little lives.”

The event, which will be held at the Knoxville Convention Center starting at 7:00 pm, is a crucial fundraiser for the ministry. It will feature Master of Ceremonies Hallerin Hilton Hill, musical sensation Voices of Lee from Lee University and keynote speaker, Fox Television and Radio’s Glenn Beck. Net proceeds raised will be used to help SMCH continue the work they do.
