Phil Thompson was recently named the new director of Men and Women of Action (MWOA), an independent benevolent organization with roots in the Church of God. Thompson replaces long-time director Hugh Carver, who announced his retirement from the organization earlier this year.

The award presentation and a reception honoring Dr. and Mrs. Walker followed the 12th Annual Azusa Lecture on November 24 at the North Cleveland Church of God Dixon Chapel.
