Nascar Driver Says ‘No’ to God, Becomes Amazon Best Seller

When God was handing out the “overachiever” personality traits, evidently Robert Bakke was the first in line. God knew full well what and who He had created in Robert. So one day in 2011 in a lonely hotel room… God came calling, but Robert was in no mood to talk. The actual conversation went something like this: God: “Robert, I want you to write Me a book on prayer.” Robert: “No, God, I’m not gonna do it!” God: “Excuse me?” Well, I think we all can imagine how that turned out. Yes, Robert wrote the book. It is titled Prayer at Full Throttle. Speaking of full throttle, the book “raced” to number 19 on Amazon’s best seller chart and according to Robert, this wild ride isn’t over yet… because for some reason, race car drivers have absolutely no interest in any numerical rating but that of number 1.

After 777 Intercession Call, Graham Urges New Prayer Mandate

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6).

Just recently, God laid on my heart a burden to call His people to prayer for our nation. In obedience, I offered “777: An Urgent Call to Prayer for our Nation.” One hundred and twenty thousand of you signed up to receive the prayers that God had given me, distributing them to thousands more, so that we prayed with one heart and one voice. I believe our prayers moved heaven as evidenced by the double rainbow God stretched out over the nation’s capital on July 8.

Congressman Leads Members in Urging Navy to Keep Bibles in Lodging Facilities

Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04), led 25 Members of Congress in a bipartisan letter to the Secretary of the Navy, Ray Mabus, urging that donated religious materials remain in the guest rooms at Navy Lodge facilities. Last week, it came to light at the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) had issued a memo for the removal of Bibles currently in Navy Lodge guest rooms after NEXCOM received a complaint. After significant pushback, however, the Navy announced that the decision was being reconsidered.

Mississippi Lawmaker Lets God Do the Talking

With our government in a monumental mess and many prophetic voices suggesting judgment—and many others suggesting a Great Awakening—one lawmaker is taking matters into his hands. Or, rather, hoping lawmakers will put matters into God’s hands.
