Cleveland, TN–On Friday and Saturday, April 9-10, Lee University will welcome students and their families to Lee Day Live, a virtual look into life at Lee with multiple events for applicants, prospective students, and parents.
The following statement was recently posted by Church of God World Missions from Dr. David M. Griffis, Church of God World Missions General Director, on the recent passing of International Director of Youth and Discipleship for the Church of God, David Blair, and his partnership and contributions to Church of God World Missions.
There are many moving parts in the ever-evolving landscape of global orphan care. They cannot be siloed and must work in harmony with one another in order to achieve the best outcomes for the child. However, those working on behalf of orphaned children must do so within the cultural context, available resources and laws of their own countries and local communities. Help comes in all forms, varying from community, institutional, and individual support.
The funeral for Dr. David C. Blair, International Director of Youth and Discipleship for the Church of God, was a fitting tribute to a life and ministry dedicated to serving youth.
Pastor Appreciation Day in the Church of God will be Sunday, April 25, 2021. The annual observance gives local churches the chance to honor their shepherds.
