The Church of God Historical Commission is seeking nominations for the historical writing award established in honor of longtime church historian Charles W. Conn. Awards are granted in two competitive fields of historical writing: the best published book and the best essay-length article.

Church of God Communications in partnership with the Israel Initiative recently announced an historic partnership with Voice of Hope Radio in the Middle East located in Israel. Voice of Hope will air the script reading of “Just a Minute” in the Arabic language.

Church of God Legal Appears in Noted Publication

Director of Church of God Legal Services Dennis Watkins is quoted extensively in the latest issue of “Church Law & Tax Report,” a review of legal developments affecting ministers and churches. Founded in 1987 it is published by Christianity Today and considered the most respected legal publication dealing with matters of church law and tax issues.

Dominican Republic 75th Anniversary National Convention

Under the theme “A Church Committed to its Identity,” Church of God ministers and laity from over 800 churches across the nation of the Dominican Republic gathered for their 75th Anniversary National Convention, March 7-9, 2018.

Operation Compassion Sends Containers to Syria and Iraq

During the past several years Operation Compassion has partnered with Hope Charitable Services in sending containers to the persecuted Christian communities stuck in war torn Syria and Iraq. One container will be sent to each country making this the sixth container to Iraq and the second to Syria.
