Court Finds Ministerial Housing Allowance Constitutional

Cleveland, TN: In a surprising unanimous decision on March 15, 2019, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals held that the ministerial housing allowance, a tax law that benefits credentialed ministers, did not violate the U.S. Constitution. While Court observers were divided on their predictions about what the court’s final decision might be, the unanimous decision upholding the “cash” housing allowance took almost everyone by surprise.

Lee University Celebrates International Women’s Week

Cleveland, TN–Lee University’s Cultural Diversity Committee hosted a series of events this week to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD). Activities included lectures, a panel discussion, chapel services, and a poster competition.
