Cleveland, TN—The International Executive Council of the Church of God met in their regularly scheduled spring session, completing their agenda on Tuesday evening, April 23, 2019.

Church of God Adult Discipleship announces the availability of resources connected with the upcoming National Day of Prayer set for Thursday, May 2, all across America. This is the day each year when believers of all denominations join hands and hearts and pray together for God to bless and guide our nation back to righteous principles and practices.

Sevierville, TN–For the first time in a number of years, the Church of God Division of Care Board of Directors met on the Sevierville property of the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home (SMCH) to discuss ongoing ministries of the division.

The two men stood in front of him, hatchets in hand. They spat tobacco at his feet and dared him to cross their blockade.

The story sounds like a movie, but it was all too real for Church of God Heartland Region World Missions director Larry Odam.

Church of God Women’s Ministries has a goal to raise $500,000 for the House of Cherith, a ministry to stop human trafficking under the umbrella of the Atlanta City of Refuge.
