Classes at Discipleship College, in Eldoret, Kenya, began on January 19. I am teaching College Writing. The four men in the class were apprehensive about their writing abilities. Each of the men received a dictionary and a thesaurus to help sharpen their skills. Progress is evident in their work.
We saw many people saved, healed and delivered. Churches were planted and an organization established. Pastors and leaders were raised up to continue in the vision. On top of this, we were privileged to see a regional revival among the Gypsy people in Slovakia!
During the 2008 Christmas season Church of God missionaries Tommi and Poppi Smith were able to minister the joy of Jesus to more than 1,500 children, many from the slums of Jakarta, during several outreaches.
The past year has been a thoroughly encouraging time for the Argenteuil Church of God. The key word is still “growth.” We have seen the salvation of two 16 year-old young ladies: Marie-Ange and Cindy and a young man, Stanley, all three attending church regularly.
NEW YORK CITY — We conduct outreaches, equip churches, empower leaders and serve the body of Christ to become a force of change in the inner city. We do all of these things because of one soul.
God is moving in East Africa! I recently returned from a four-week stay in Uganda and Rwanda on November 8. It was a very successful trip and the Lord blessed our efforts this year. Once again we were able to minister to the pastors and leaders of East Africa. Dr. Ernie Varner,
