Branson Festival Celebrates Southern Gospel

Southern Gospel music takes center stage – on seven stages – as Silver Dollar City dedicates an entire festival to glorious gospel music and great harmonies in its “Southern Gospel Picnic.”

Pro-Life Protest Scheduled

On Saturday, August 25 from 9:00-11:00 AM, a massive protest will take place at the nation’s largest Planned Parenthood facility located at 3051 E. New York St. in Aurora, Illinois set to open on September 18th. The protest, organized by the Pro- Life Action League, is being promoted by local and national pro-life groups including the Illinois chapter of Concerned Women of America, Illinois Citizens for Life, Illinois Right to Life, Priests for Life and Operation Rescue. The National Organization for Women (NOW) has promised to counter-protest.

Conference on Care Convening in South Africa

Compassion South Africa is a Conference on Care sponsored by Beyond Borders, in association with the Church of God’s Operation Compassion, Bethsaida Church of South Africa and Church of God Care Ministries. The conference is underway at the 10,000 member Bethsaida Church, pastored by Emmanuel Moodley.

Programming for Hearing Impaired Children Coming to the NRB Network

Today the NRB Network announced a partnership with Silent Blessings Ministries, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Deaf Video Communications in Chicago and Deaf Missions in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The groups will bring “Dr. Wonder’s Workshop” to over 16 million viewers Saturday’s at 8:00am (ET) on the NRB Network.

More than 7,000 Students Answer Missionary Call

This year at the U.S. Assembly of God (AG) annual youth conference “Indy07?Experience the Dream,” more than 7,000 young people answered the call to become missionaries on their middle and high school campuses.
