The prayer vigil will be held on Monday, September 10, at 8:00 P.M. The group will be praying for President Bush and congressional leadership as they weigh the recommendations put forward by General Petraeus in his report to Congress concerning the future of Iraq.
The 10th annual, nationwide “Scriptures in Schools Week” is scheduled for September 23-29. Christian students, teachers, and staff in public schools throughout America are encouraged to bring their Bibles to school.

Hurricane Felix has now become a Tropical Depression and is slowly heading west and, hopefully soon, out of Honduras. The remaining threats are heavy rainfall and sudden rushes in the rivers from the mountainous areas, which could lead to severe flooding. Various communities in San Pedro Sula suffered some flooding, but for now everything is calm.
