Building the Church in Liberia

I am pleased to inform you that since my election into office on Feb. 24, 2007, we have 11 new mission stations with some of our Bible school students serving as pastors while they are in school. We have over 1,000 new members who have not been added to our record in Liberia. We desperately need to prepare all of our places of worship so there aren’t any disruptions when the rainy season begins soon.

I have just returned home from a fantastic breakthrough weekend of ministry in the city of Pekanbaru (population 800,000), capital of Indonesia’s Riau Provence on the island of Sumatra, a 90 minute flight from Jakarta. This landlocked city is closer to the foreign capitals of Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, than it is to Jakarta.

Seven years ago, when the doors opened in Logan, WV Appalachian Dream Center, there was a sense of awe at what was accomplished so quickly. In less than one year the Appalachian Dream Center went from a dream to reality including renovating a 40,000 square foot, four-story building.
