On September 27, 2008, the Bless the Children Home in Honor of Tyler H. Carver was opened debt-free in Georgetown, Guyana and dedicated in honor of Tyler Carver, son of Hugh and Nona Carver of Cleveland, Tenn. Hugh Carver is director of the Church of God Men and Women of Action.
A new Web site has been launched which will resource pastors, church leaders and laity in the months to come as the Church of God pursues a theme of “Forward Together in Changing Times.”

UKRAINE — On September 9-11, 2008, the Church of God in Central Eastern Europe/CIS celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Church of God in the Ukraine. National Overseer Alexi Demidovich and Field Director Dieter Knospe led the ceremonies.

Scores of churches nationwide are planning an unusual outreach. They plan to close their doors on October 12 in order to minister in their communities.
CLEVELAND, Tenn. — There are currently 32 non-U.S. missionaries from the Church of God working as missionary teachers and church planters in Europe, Asia and North Africa. These missionaries are products of the Church of God in other nations. God’s hand is not shortened by race or location, and it is amazing to watch this phenomenon take place.
