Gospel on the Move in Romania through Child Evangelism Fellowship

This July, Child Evangelism Fellowship, the largest Christian ministry to children in the world, will hold its fifth annual Good News Across Romania Campaign, which targets a different county of Romania every year with evangelistic clubs, called 5-Day Clubs. This year’s campaign will focus on the county of Prahova. There, CEF hopes to beat last year’s record established in Arad county where it shared the Gospel with 4250 children in five days.

Christian Freedom International Delivers Urgent Petitions to Capitol Hill

Christian Freedom International will deliver thousands of petitions to Virginia Congressman Frank Wolf requesting the immediate release of two U.S. citizens, Saeed Abedini of Idaho, being held in Iran, and Kenneth Bae of Washington State being held in North Korea. Both men are being held in prison only because they are Christians. The petitions being delivered represent more than a million petitions that have been collected nationally. Despite the pleas of their families, House Resolutions, Congressional hearings, news coverage, and petitions already presented, no action from the Administration has been forthcoming. We are most grateful to Congressman Frank Wolf for accepting these additional petitions for the release of Saeed Abedini and Kenneth Bae.

We recently assisted a mother and her daughter in Tucson, Arizona, who requested our assistance when the daughter was told that she could no longer bring her Bible to school. The daughter had been bringing her Bible to school to read and to discuss with other students during her free time. Some students reported her to the teacher, who then spoke to the dean of students. Consequently, the daughter was told that she could no longer bring her Bible to school.
