Entire Bible to be Read Aloud May 1-5 on Steps of U.S. Capitol

The 27th annual U.S. Capitol Bible Reading Marathon began at 6:00 PM on Sunday, May 1st. For 90 continuous hours, beginning with the reading of Genesis 1:1, every word of the Bible will be read aloud and without commentary, culminating at noon on Thursday, May 5, with the reading of the final chapters of the book of Revelation. During these five days, hundreds of Bible believers will travel to the West Front of the U.S. Capitol to read a portion of the Bible, to listen and to pray. The U.S. Capitol Bible Reading Marathon began in 1990. The event serves to honor the Bible, celebrate religious freedom and unite the diverse branches of Christianity around the Bible. There will be 100 English and foreign language versions of the Bible available to be read.

Christian Leaders Gather in Yad Vashem for Christian Leadership Seminar

(Jerusalem – April 20, 2016) Thirty Christian priests, pastors and leaders of organizations from across the world are coming to attend a week long intensive seminar at Yad Vashem. The seminar is organized jointly by The International School for Holocaust Studies’ of Yad Vashem and the Christian Friends of Yad Vashem with the financial support of The Museum of The Bible in Washington D.C. as well as the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, USA Branch. The Seminar, titled “The Holocaust, Antisemitism, and Israel” runs from May 1, 2016 –May 10, 2016 at the Yad Vashem Campus in Jerusalem.
