Zondervan Signs ‘Chewbacca Mom’ for Multi-Book Deal

Zondervan announced today the signing of a multi-book deal with Candace Payne, who is frequently referred to as “Chewbacca Mom.” The first book will release November 7, 2017 with a national media and multi-city book signing tour. Payne shared the news with her fans first in an emotional Facebook Live video from HarperCollins Christian Publishing’s Grand Rapids office.

Franklin Graham Dedicates Field Hospital in Iraq

Franklin Graham was recently in Iraq to officially dedicate our emergency field hospital, where Samaritan’s Purse is treating those injured in the conflict between Iraqi and coalition forces and ISIS militants in Mosul. SP is providing trauma care to victims, including many women and children wounded by gunfire, mortar rounds, car bombings, and improvised explosives.
