Fritz Richard, author of several Christian books, has launched a Kickstarter project for his book, Make God Smile (www.kickstarter.com/projects/225937295/make-god-smile). The book will be completed over the next two months. It will help Christians discover hundreds of ways to make God smile on their lives. Fritz notes that “There will be stories, cartoons and bible references.”

With the Church of God established in 183 nations of the world, it is easy sometimes to overlook some of the countries where God is doing a great work. One such location is Greece, which also comprises 150 inhabited islands.

On a recent Saturday in Sioux City, Iowa, not even snow could keep more than 2,000 children and their families from enjoying inflatable rides, music, karate demonstrations, snow cones, popcorn, puppets and much more at the Sioux City Convention Center. Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF®), the world’s largest children’s ministry, hosted its annual Good News Spectacular for the fifth year in a row from 1 – 3 p.m., drawing folks from Woodbury, Plymouth, Ida, Lyon Sioux, Monona and Sac Counties. The purpose of this free event is to share the love of Jesus Christ and His saving grace with area children and their families.

Peter Thomas, Field Director for the Church of God in Africa, will join Christopher Sabale, the Prayer Coordinator for Africa, on Saturday, April 15, along with other leaders in the nation of Botswana for the first ever All Africa Day of Prayer.

One of the saddest parts of the Easter story occurred the night Jesus was arrested. His disciple Peter was stressed to the breaking point and fearful of the crowd. When the high priest’s servant girl accused him of being a disciple of Jesus, he denied it.
