Sevierville, TN–Vina Duncan represents many senior adults who have made the choice to continue their service unto the Lord even after retirement years. Duncan is 87 years young, and as stated by Doug Losch, “Has no retirement date set. She desires to continue working for God.” She decided to help raise funds for the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home through a “penny” drive.

Cleveland, TN–Lee University is welcoming a veteran pastor to lead its ministerial training programs, it was announced Sunday by Lee President Paul Conn. Dr. Mark L. Walker, senior pastor of Mount Paran North Church of God, will resign from that pastorate to join the Lee faculty and administration in early August.

Today the U.S. Supreme Court announced the Court’s decision in the case of Trinity Lutheran Church of Columbia v. Comer. This marked the first major religious liberty case since Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch was confirmed to the Court earlier this year. Family Research Council, as a part of a coalition, submitted an amicus brief in the case.
