Last Friday, President Trump proclaimed September 8-10 to be “National Days of Prayer and Remembrance” for 9/11. The movement In God We Trust (IGWT) recently presented its petition to the President with more than 200,000 signatures asking for a day of prayer, fasting and repentance recognizing September 11.

Operation Compassion continues delivering much needed disaster relief supplies to the survivors of Hurricane Harvey throughout the Houston area and beyond. With 18 disaster relief sites active across the Houston metro area, eight warehouse sites receiving semi-trailers and delivering to other areas in smaller trucks, pick-up trucks and trailers and 10 church sites receiving loads for local distribution. Operation Compassion has delivered or scheduled 34 trucks during the first week following Hurricane Harvey’s landfall. In addition, there are 71 trucks staged and ready for delivery.

Ratio Christi Campus Apologetics Alliance announces the forthcoming publication of the book Leaving Mormonism: Why Four Scholars Changed their Minds, co-edited by Ratio Christi’s president, Dr. Corey Miller, and Lynn Wilder; written by Miller, Wilder, Vince Eccles, and Latayne C. Does anyone remember Robert Tilton’s Word of Faith World Outreach Center in Dallas? It was one of the biggest megachurches in the country back in the 1980s. Tilton broadcast his popular “Success-N-Life” seminars all over the country from the church, until he was exposed for financial fraud. Word of Faith’s building was lost in foreclosure and it was later demolished.
