(Part 1 of 2)–Church of God USA Missions is devoted to spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, and is dedicated to the mission of the FINISH Commitment to answer the call of the Great Commission. One way that USA Missions is answering that call is through church planting.

Church leaders have forever looked upon the Trinity as an everlasting mystery. However, those convictions are proven false in T.R. Bosse’s recently published book, The Mystery of the Trinity Revealed (Dove & Word Publishing). The book unravels details about how God became a man named Jesus and why the Trinity remained a mystery all those years. It also shows why it could never become completely understood until today’s advanced technology came about. The book showcases the Trinity as fully comprehensible to the extent that it answers every question ever asked about the topic.

On the heels of the movie by Amy Schumer, I Feel Pretty, Kelly Falardeau realizes the similarities of the underlying message between Schumer’s recent DVD release and her own personal Still Beautiful Documentary. The 2 similarities are that they both have a ‘talking mirror.’ One says positive words of affirmation, filling Schumer’s character with positive thoughts and feelings and the other mirror displayed in Falardeau’s Still Beautiful Documentary says mean words, such as “Ugly Scarface Girl.”

On Monday, August 27, Dr. Tim Hill, General Overseer of the Church of God, was among more than 100 Evangelical leaders to attend a special appreciation dinner at the White House to recognize the impact that faith has on our nation. The dinner was hosted by President and Mrs. Trump, but included Vice President and Mrs. Pence, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson, and a host of other governmental leaders.

Another school year is beginning with kids eager to see their friends and parents eager to get back into a routine. But for 11.3 million kids in the United States, the routine isn’t that great. They go school but come home to an empty house. Research shows, this can lead to loneliness, behavioral problems, depression, along with a greater susceptibility to alcohol and drug abuse.

On October 18-20, 2018, Church of God Prayer Ministries, PROJECT PRAY, and the North Carolina Southern Baptist office for Bi-vocational Ministries, are sponsoring a conference in Asheboro, N.C. for small church pastors and their spouses, along with key congregational leaders.

Spirit Led Ministry, a marriage and relationship-focused ministry in Atlanta, is looking to initiate an open dialogue in response to the question: Why do a considerable number of marriages/relationships fail? Founded by Jacques and Toshia Posey, Spirit Led Ministry takes a refreshing, God-centered approach to healing marriages. By providing biblical counseling and coaching, Jacques and Toshia seek to help both couples and singles either prepare for marriage or strengthen their existing marriage based on God’s purpose.

On August 25, 2018, over 20,000 people came to Stone Mountain, the largest Confederate monument in the country, as part of the OneRace movement for racial healing and unity.
