Cleveland, TN–On Friday and Saturday, April 5-6, Lee University will welcome prospective students and their families to campus for Lee Day, the university’s annual preview weekend. ChinaAid’s founder and president, Bob Fu, will join a host of U.S. lawmakers and Chinese religious freedom and human rights experts on Monday for a press conference to announce the launch of the Coalition to Advance Religious Freedom in China (CARFC), detail China’s human rights abuses, and urge China to adhere to respect the rights of the Chinese people by adhering to its own, pre-existing laws, as well as the legal practices of the international community.

Following San Francisco’s “Summer of Love,” thousands of young “hippies” headed for the warmer Southern California climate. Hollywood was teaming with teenagers searching for answers.

ORLANDO, Fla., — Saturday February 23, 2019 is a day for the history books. More than 90,000 people registered and upwards of 55-thousand people attended a landmark gathering called The Send at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. It was intended to inspire and equipped the Church to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission.

This weekend, leaders of the United Methodist Church (UMC) will convene to vote on whether or not the United States’ second-largest Protestant denomination will allow same-sex marriage and ordained LGBT clergy. The vote—which is the culmination of several years of interdenominational conflict—may fracture the UMC, no matter which side wins.

In 1980 it seemed unreasonable to expect that the gospel could be preached openly in Soviet Ukraine, yet a group of believers there listened when a prophecy was given that they would do just that. When the country declared its independence in 1991, however, the freedom of religion offered by the new law enabled the believers to do exactly as the prophecy predicted – they planted churches, evangelized publicly, and gained converts. In 1993, they formally joined the Church of God.

I’ll never forget where I was sitting in the Orlando airport in Florida several years ago when I heard an unusual announcement on the public-address system. A male voice said: “George Mueller. George Mueller. Please contact a service desk for a message.”
