CLEVELAND, TENN.–Perhaps the most recognized name in Church of God religious education over the last 60 years is Dr. R. Hollis Gause. The veteran professor, administrator and preacher was honored on October 30, 2008 with placement in the prestigious Hall of Prophets, along with his late wife, Beulah, and naming of the “R. Hollis Gause Administration Building” at the Church of God Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tenn.

T.L. Lowery Receives Spirit of Azusa Award

Dr. T.L. Lowery was honored with the Spirit of Azusa Award on October 28, as part of the third annual Azusa Lecture. The Dixon Pentecostal Research Center and the International Center for Spiritual Renewal presented the award to Lowery for his life-time of evangelism and leadership in the global Pentecostal movement. Along with the award, Dr. David G. Roebuck, director of the Dixon Pentecostal Research Center, gave a lecture in honor of Lowery.
