MOSCOW, Russia — The visiting team from the Euro-Asian Accrediting Association (EAAA), recently completed a two-day visit to the Eurasian Theological Seminary, a Church of God institution in Moscow. The EAAA informed us that they will be recommending to their General Council in June that ETSM be accredited for its Bachelor of Theology and Bachelor in Pastoral Ministry programs. It is a real milestone for the school to have this official recognition of accreditation from the Euro-Asian Accrediting Association.

A pro-life leader faces up to two years in prison and as much as $4,000 in fines for offering sidewalk counseling at an Oakland, Calif., abortion clinic. Pastor Walter B. Hoye, founder of the Issues4Life Foundation, is to be sentenced today after being found guilty on Jan. 15 of “unlawful approach” under an Oakland city ordinance that bars picketers from coming within eight feet of women entering an abortion clinic.

After waiting nearly five days in Birmingham, Alabama, the Survivors are now back on their nationwide abortion awareness campaign with their video equipment in hand. The property was illegally seized by police during the arrests of nine of the team members last Thursday. The team spent more than 14 hours in jail for simply standing on a public sidewalk holding a sign and handing out literature in front of Parker High School. Adding insult to injury, when the team was finally released Friday morning, the police stalled the release of the team’s camera equipment and video recordings of the event at Parker High School.
