Nova Vento Entertainment has acquired the theatrical rights to the new award-winning faith based film, Counter Column and will be releasing the film in theaters nationwide on May 21, 2021.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Bob Jones University (BJU) President Steve Pettit today announced a new strategic vision for BJU Seminary to spearhead a 500x5x5 campaign to help address a nationwide pastor shortage by putting 500 new pastors on the path to the pulpit in the next five years – and every five years beyond that.

This past weekend I preached at a growing church in Lake City, Florida, about an hour west of Jacksonville. For several weeks the pastor, Chris Jones, has been taking his congregation through the book of Acts—chapter by chapter—because he wants to create a culture of hunger for the Holy Spirit.

Less than two percent are involved in a ministry of evangelism. And 71 percent don’t give towards the Great Commission. Next month is GO Month with the entire month devoted to evangelistic outreaches worldwide in 150 nations. GO Day is on May 29 where Christians are encouraged to share their faith with at least one person.

Rev. Mark Stephen Abbott, former International Director of Youth and Christian Education (now Youth and Discipleship), passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 following a brief illness. He was 61.

those who died from COVID-19. Up to $9,000 per death may be provided if the applicant meets
the eligibility rules.

The Arkansas General Assembly passed House Concurrent Resolution 1007 recognizing January 22 as the Day of Tears. This resolution calls for private citizens in Arkansas to lower their flags on January 22, in honor and remembrance of the over 61 million innocents who have lost their lives to abortion. Arkansas joins Alabama as the second state this year to pass a Day of Tears resolution.

Cleveland, TN–Rev. Robert “Rob” Bailey, elected as the Assistant Director of International Youth and Discipleship for the Church of God in 2016, was officially installed in the director’s role during a commissioning ceremony on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. The brief ceremony took place as a Special Order of the Day during the regular monthly meeting of the International Executive Committee.
