World Missions Leadership Chosen

San Antonio, Texas— The nominee for World Missions Director for the Church of God was just a young boy, sitting in a Church of God pew in Nicholls, Ga. for a missions service. This South Georgia son couldn’t know it at the time, but he was catching a glimpse of his future.

Council of Eighteen Elected

San Antonio, Texas–For the first time in recent history, the Church of God Council of Eighteen will have eighteen new faces when it convenes for the first meeting this September at the International Offices in Cleveland, Tenn.

General Council Continues Business

San Antonio, Texas— The International General Council addressed several issues Thursday on its agenda in regards to sexual and gender identity, making clear the Church of God’s Scriptural and unwavering stance on these contemporary cultural issues.

Executive Committee Nominated

San Antonio, TX–Despite an equipment failure that caused a delay of over an hour, the Church of God General Council was able to nominate Timothy M. Hill to a second term as general overseer and the four remaining members of the International Executive Committee on Tuesday.

Bailey, Yaun Confirmed for Youth and Discipleship Posts

San Antonio, Texas–Rob Bailey thought about his parents, who went on to their heavenly reward. Brian Yaun remembered his grandmother, still praying at age 92.

Ukrainian Overseer Bestowed ‘Order of the Towel’

San Antonio, Texas–During a special time of pre-Assembly prayer on Sunday, July 24, a traditional servant award, The Order of the Towel, was presented to Bishop Alexie Demodovach, Church of God overseer in war-torn Ukraine.
