A beautiful new piece of property has been acquired by Church of God World Missions for the future new home of the Asian Seminary for Christian Ministries (ASCM) in the Philippines. The announcement came from the Church of God World Missions leadership team of Dr. David M. Griffis and Dr. M. Thomas Propes.

Houston Gospel Music Coalition Now Accepting Submissions

Submissions are now being accepted for the Houston Gospel Music Coalition Music Video and Film Festival. Faith-based, inspirational film and music video makers can vie for a chance to have their works screened and be eligible for cash and awards, in our 2019 film festival. World Council of Churches to Hold Prayer for Flight Disaster Families

The World Council of Churches (WCC) is inviting the public, media, and all people of goodwill to join in a Midday Prayer on 20 March. Prayers will focus on grieving family, friends and colleagues who lost loved ones from UN agencies, the WCC and other organizations who perished in the Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crash on 10 March.

Court Finds Ministerial Housing Allowance Constitutional

Cleveland, TN: In a surprising unanimous decision on March 15, 2019, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals held that the ministerial housing allowance, a tax law that benefits credentialed ministers, did not violate the U.S. Constitution. While Court observers were divided on their predictions about what the court’s final decision might be, the unanimous decision upholding the “cash” housing allowance took almost everyone by surprise.
