I spent the last two weeks ministering in Uganda, where I’ve made some of the best friends on the planet. But life is not easy here—at least not for a “Mazungu” (white person) who has become so accustomed to American conveniences.
U.S. Senator Ben Sasse, the author of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, issued the following statement after Majority Leader Mitch McConnell set up a vote on Sasse’s legislation to require that doctors provide care to newborns who survive botched abortions. The vote will take place on Monday, February 25.
The Church of God International Executive Committee recently recommended that the office of USA Portuguese-speaking ministries be repositioned to the office of Hispanic Ministries. The Church of God Portuguese USA ministry is led by Bishop Euler and Sara Cecilio.
Dr. Grant McClung, president of Missions Resource Group, is celebrating ten years of growth in the arena of advancing and resourcing the cause of world evangelization by providing training, consulting, and mentoring to the global Great Commission community. “In February 2009,” McClung notes, “Janice and I were in Nairobi, Kenya for my first meeting with the World Missions Commission (WMC) of the Pentecostal World Fellowship (PWF). This was followed up by a teaching visit to the Church of God Discipleship Training College in Kenya.”
Jesus told His disciples, “What is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs” (Matthew 10:27). We have heard His whisper and proclaim, “God’s Kingdom is on the move in America!”
