February 24, 2015–With snow blanketing the Cleveland, Tennessee area today, the Pentecostal Theological Seminary has altered the schedule for the 13th annual Clarence J. Abbott Lectures in Biblical Studies. The lectures will now be given on Wednesday, February 25 in Knight Hall and Thursday, February 26, in Cross Memorial Chapel at the Seminary. The theme of the lectures is “A Pentecostal Theology of Worship and the Book of Revelation.”

Islamic State militants have abducted at least 90 people from Assyrian Christian villages in northeastern Syria, a monitoring group that tracks violence in Syria said on Tuesday.
